hopeless-savages asked: I just saw your awesome Gaila cosplay and I was wondering where you got your body suit? I want to do Shehulk for Dragoncon this year and I haven't been able to find any.
I didn’t. What I did was buy 2 pairs of kelly green tights from We Love Colors. The first pair obviously were just for my legs, but the second pair I cut a hole in the crotch big enough for my head to comfortable fit through. I shortened the tights a smidge and cut places for my fingers.
I then hand sewed the fingers together with embroidery thread because it’s thicker, and dabbed nail polish over the seams to help them hold.
Then I bought a case of acrylic nails and super glued them on where my nails should be. Fair warning, use olive oil on your fingers to help keep the glue from seeping through the fabric and sticking to your nail. Also the super glue if you use a lot can melt the plastic and warp the nails a little bit so we careful. After that it was just a matter of painting the nails and I was done.
Recently I’ve been thinking about taking some fabric spray paint in a forest green and lightly spritzing both tights to give it a more mottled skin tone look, but I haven’t gotten around to doing it yet. Anyway, hope this helps.
Why not just buy a green Morphsuit?

I guess that has a lot to do with where the girl in question grew up. Most girls in the South are raised to graciously accept a compliment.
